Tate Appointed at Hull FC

Richard Tate signed as Hull FC Reserve assistant Coach 

After being involved within the Hull FC Community Foundation, Richard Tate has been assigned the New Reserve assistant coach, supporting Gareth Ellis in Coaching the Reserves.

Recently, Richard Tate, a pivotal member of the Hull FC Community Foundation team, has been announced to be the assistant coach to Hull FC reserve side alongside Gareth Ellis.

Richard has continued his role as England students head coach, also as head coach of the Hull University side. He has provided both teams with successes in the past, leading the England students to a 100% four nations victory. And taking the Hull University side to the second round of the Ladbrokes challenge cup, and narrowly missing out on the third round, losing to Myton 22-18.

Previous experiences with coaching can be found with the Bradford Bull’s scholarship side, Leeds Rhino’s foundation as well as working with the City of Hull Academy U16’s side.
